The Textile Design Merchant Trainee programme is a 12-18 month trainee programme designed to develop future Lingerie & Footwear Textile Designers for the business.

Requirements
- Surface Design/ Textile Design Diploma
- A passion for Textile Design, and the customer
- Experience in a printing mill or manufacturing environment is preferable
- Ability to analyse and interpret information accurately
- Ability to design and put into repeat working on CAD system
- Ability to sketch is essential
- Computer literacy – preferably with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator experience
- A knowledge of printing methods ensuring a printable end product
- Demonstrated taste level and flair
- Ability to design product appropriate to the brief and the customer
- Team player
- Planning and organizing ability
- Strong influencing and communication skills
- High energy levels and self-motivation
- A positive “can do” attitude
