Macbat looking to employee a young, energetic person as a trainee apprentice with the purpose of qualifying as a Battery Technician. Any industry exposure will be an advantage. Good knowledge of Cape Town surroundings a must. Minimum code 8 drivers license and own reliable transport required. The ideal candidate must be keen to learn and use own initiative. Must be fluent in English and/or Afrikaans. Training to fulfill the following duties:
- Identify different cell types by eye
- Be able to accurately measure SG densities with a hydrometer
- Be able to use a multi-meter and take voltages
- Communicate with clients and be well spoken
- Be able to work with AC Power
