Duties: Project filling and log in project details in project tracking tools. Co-ordination and preparation of Technical Assistance Fund applications. Co-ordination and preparation of BEE financial scheme assistance applications. General administration.

Internship: Gauteng/Pretoria Office

Duties: Lead generation for private sector development, investment, technology and innovation development in KwaZulu-Natal through focused business development events. Develop linkages with private, public and international institutions that promote private sector development and responsible investment in KwaZulu-Natal, and establish mechanisms for the promotion of sustainable business alliances. Develop linkages among enterprises and between enterprises and institutions, including linkages between large corporations and SMEs in KwaZulu-Natal towards their sustainable integration into national and global value chains identified and developed in Gauteng. Analyze the capacities of developing countries and the ways to upgrade, develop enterprises and support institutions and improve competitiveness of industries in KwaZulu-Natal. Assist in the coordination of the business development-, lead generation-, destination marketing activities of the TIKZN Gauteng office, projects and field operations to facilitate responsible business partnerships and scale up development impact in KwaZulu-Natal. Requirements: Degree or National Diploma in: Business Administration, Development Economics, Marketing, Economics, Urban and Regional Planning, Technology or a related field at undergraduate level.
Internship: Communicaitons – Marketing and Communications

Duties: The Communications Intern will assist the Marketing and Communications (M&C) team in executing communication strategies, enhancing the visibility of TIKZN’s brand, and supporting stakeholder engagement efforts. This internship offers an opportunity to gain practical experience in public relations, content creation, digital communications, and media relations. Content development. Social media management: Managing and creating content for social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.). Planning and scheduling posts to align with communications strategies. Knowledge of trends and best practices in digital communication. Assist in planning and executing events.Provide on-site support during events
Cmpetencies: Understanding of the digital marketing landscape. Understanding of marketing platforms and digital marketing platforms. In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms. Creative writing ability. Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel.
Requirements: Degree or National Diploma in: Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or Journalism. Course in digital or social media marketing is advantageous.
Internship: Information Technology – Knowledge Management

Duties: IT Helpdesk Call Logging. Desktop Support. Network support. Management of servers and applications including Microsoft and Linux based systems. Management of LAN devices including switches and firewalls. Management of WAN links and WAN partners where the monitoring of link usage and WAN optimization will be required. Management of Information Security system/processes i.e. anti-virus and other forms of endpoint protection and policies. Management of VoIP telephone devices and PBX systems
Competencies: Sound knowledge of: Information Technology Hardware Infrastructure Maintenance and Support; Website and Desktop Publishing; Latest Technologies e.g. Microsoft 365, Azure. Understanding of the ICT regulations
Requirements: Degree or National Diploma in: Information Technology. Exposure to Microsoft 365 and Azure would be an added advantage
Internship: Investment Promotion

Duties: Coordination and facilitation of Training and Development initiatives. Assist with the coordination and facilitation of Performance mangement processes. To assist with provision of secretarial and administrative support to the General Manager: HR, Execeutive Manager: Corporate Services and other committees, as and when required. Ensure proper records keeping and management system in HR. Collation of information for report compilation/ writing purposes. Provide administrative support for Employee Wellness programmes. Facilitate the Recruitment and Selection process. Assist with leave management and employee benefits processes.

Ethics Internship: Corporate Services
Reference No: TIKZN/Ethics/2025
Duties: Research, identify, assess, and inform the Executive Manager: Corporate Services of internal and external matters which affect the Ethics office. Interacting and advising business units to serve as a resource for ethical dilemmas. Assist with the efficient and effective day-to-day operations of the Ethics Office. Disseminate ethics policies, procedures including all ethics information. Develops and implements internal and external ethics communication plans. Facilitates road shows for dissemination of executive decisions and board decisions on ethics strategies. Develop an operational plan which incorporates goals and objectives that work towards the strategic direction of the Ethics Office. Ensure that ethics information, files, and documents are securely stored, and privacy / confidentiality is maintained. General administration.
Requirements: Degree or National Diploma in: Law / Corporate Governance/ Risk Management and Compliance or equivalent.
NB. Postgraduate degree would serve as an added advantage.
