LegalWise seeks to employ 2 Internal Auditors on an internship bases to give assurance on governance, risk and controls by performing risk based audits for the LEZA Group in line with Audit Committee requirements and the standards as set by the Institute of Internal Auditors.This position reports to: Internal Audit Manager
You will be responsible for:
- Conducting reviews, audits, investigations and special assignments in line with the needs
- of the business.
- Reporting all significant matters pertaining to governance processes internal controls
- and risk management processes to the Internal Audit Manager.
- Consulting and meeting with the Internal Audit Manager with regards to audit assignments.
- Drafting audit reports and bringing them to final status once management action plans
- have been incorporated.
- Ensuring that all audit work is documented and that the audit working papers are at the
- expected standards of quality.
- Performing follow-up audits or reviews upon completion of assignments to assess the extent
- to which recommendations have been implemented and reporting thereon.
- Ensuring at all times that administrative work is up to date including the filing of
- expense reports, time and expenses.
- Conducting assignments from time to time
- Assist with Ad hoc tasks as and when required
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Internal Audit Degree
- Computer
- Literate (Word & Excel)

Internship remuneration and benefits:
- Company will pay for the IAT, PIA & CIA accreditations & exams.
- Salary increases will be given as and when the IAT, PIA & CIA accreditations & exams has been successfully completed.
- Company will pay the annual IIA membership fees.
- 13thCheque will be payable every December based upon performance.
- Company reimburses travelling costs for conducted audits.
The internship will come to an end upon the successful completion of the IAT, PIA & CIA accreditations & exams (Limited to a minimum of 4 years and a maximum of 5 years).
