Job function

• Knowledgeable of basic laboratory techniques including safety, good housekeeping requirements incl. application of SOP / ISO / GLP protocols.
• Maintain supplies inventory and order items when needed for area of responsibility.
• Understands the Product Development Process as it pertains to R&D functions
• Prepare lab batches as well as conducting industrial trials as technical lead.
• Benchmarking vs. Industry via conducting performance and analysis evaluations.
• Support projects timeously and efficiently in order to reach organizational KPI’s.
• Contribute to departmental stretch targets.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in a related science (post graduate degree will be advantageous but not required).

• Oral communication skills to effectively provide feedback to project teams or immediate supervisor
• Written communication skills for accurate data entry, concise lab reports and communication with stakeholders
