BMI Research, a leading emerging markets analysis firm, is recruiting a high-calibre graduate to join its team in Centurion. We have built a 23-strong team of Industry Analysts, Data Analysts and Sub-Editors who sit alongside and support our market-leading research team spanning offices in Centurion, London, New York and Singapore.
You will be contributing to our market intelligence service, providing data and forecasts for senior decision makers in banks, consultancies, multinational corporations, investment funds and government agencies.
Specialising in gathering Real Estate data, your responsibilities will include:
Conducting telephone interviews with Real Estate Agents worldwide
Gathering information on Real Estate rental costs, yields and market direction
Accurately recording results and keeping to deadlines
Working alongside data and industry analysts to collate information ready for forecasting
Working with the Head of Content Development and Data to develop our product offering

Trainee Programme
You will receive extensive training in all areas of data sourcing and analysis with the help of our BMI University training material and regular training seminars hosted by senior members of the Research team, in combination with rigorous hands-on guidance from your line manager and team members. BMI also encourages external training by subsidising external courses, such as the CFA and relevant language classes.
Requirements
Minimum of an Honours degree, from a top-tier university.
Strong communication skills and the ability to clearly express yourself to non-native English speakers over the phone
Keen interest in world affairs and business
Familiarity with Excel
Desire to become more involved in the wider BMI content and research production process
Ability to question existing assumptions and develop ideas
