Bayport Financial Services is looking to secure bright career driven graduates to take part in an IT internship in 2016. This exciting opportunity will be based at our offices in Rivonia, Sandton.
The program will run in 2 cycles of six months on fixed term contracts, focusing on the core development of IT & work based skills.
Requirements
- NQF 5 Network Engineering qualification
Skills and Competencies:
- Java development
- Good verbal communications and negotiation skills

Technical skills that will be developed:
- Working technical knowledge of network and PC operating systems
- Working technical knowledge of current network, hardware, protocols and standards
- Hands-on troubleshooting experience
- Good understanding of the organizations goals and objectives
- Linux intermediate skills is beneficial
- Basic Linux scripting
- Able to troubleshoot WAN/LAN connectivity issues
- Perform switch level configuration
