Adapt IT invites applications for a Sales and Research Assistant Internship. The position is available from January 2016 in the BI division based at our office in Bryanston, Johannesburg.
The purpose of the Sales and Research Assistant role includes providing day to day support to the sales team by assisting with the administrative functions of the account managers, providing support to the contracting team,, assisting the team in delivering results and meeting customer expectations and conducting research in the Banking and Financial Services Sector.

Requirements
- Matric
- Bachelor’s degree
- A basic understanding of the Banking and Financial Services sector (preferred)
- High levels of personal confidence
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
- Good sales and negotiation skills
- Drive, initiative and motivation
- Attention to detail
- Strong liaison and stakeholder management skills
Responsibilities
- Assist with account mapping and planning
- Assist in the research process
- Conducting searches for new sales opportunities
- Assist in managing client databases and portals
- Researching the latest industry related trends
- Assist in maintaining Client and Resource relationships
- Assist with arranging events
- Preparing for, and attending, all sales and recruitment meetings
- Assist in compiling demonstration packs for sales presentations
- Assisting the Account Management team to grow the accounts
